Dr. Lau Yun Wah在1985年取得牙科学士学位，1992年于香港大学获得牙医学硕士（正畸学）学位。1993年，荣获爱丁堡皇家外科医学院正畸学会员资格以及加拿大皇家牙医学院会员资格。1995年，成为正畸学专家，并获香港医学专科学院牙科院士、香港牙科学院院士以及加拿大皇家牙医学院院士殊荣。2000年，被推选为香港牙科学院正畸学专科院士。Dr. Lau Yun Wah是香港正畸学会会员、香港牙科学院院士、加拿大皇家牙医学院院士、不列颠哥伦比亚省牙科学院会员及认证专家，同时也是世界正畸联盟院士。他担任正畸及儿童牙科中心和国际牙科中心的临床总监，亦是香港医院管理局联合医院的荣誉顾问。曾在2004年出任香港正畸学会会长，并在2005年北京亚太正畸学会会议上作为香港正畸学会代表。目前，他还是香港正畸学会和香港牙科学院的理事会成员。其研究方向涵盖早期正畸治疗、牙齿阻生、多学科治疗、睡眠呼吸暂停患者的正畸管理以及数字化正畸，此外还对数据科学、平台整合和应用开发等领域颇感兴趣。

Dr. Paul Lau obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1985 and his Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics from The University of Hong Kong in 1992. In 1993, Dr. Lau completed the Diploma in Orthodontics of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and obtained the Membership in Orthodontics of The Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, as well as the Membership of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He became a Specialist in Orthodontics and obtained the Fellowship of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in Dental Surgery, the Fellowship of the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong and the Fellowship of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 1995. In 2000, he was elected as the Fellow of the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong in the Specialty of Orthodontics.

Currently, Dr. Lau is a member of the Hong Kong Society of Orthodontists (HKSO), a fellow of the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong, a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a member and a certified specialist of the College of Dental Surgeons, British Columbia, and a fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists. He is the clinical director of Orthodontic and Children’s Dental Center and International Dental Center. He is also the honorary consultant of United Christian Hospital, Hospital Authority, Hong Kong.

Dr Lau was President of Hong Kong Society of Orthodontists in 2004 and HKSO representative in APOS Beijing 2005. Currently, he is also a council member of HKSO and College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong.

Dr. Lau has a special interest in early orthodontic treatment, impaction of teeth, interdisciplinary treatment, orthodontic management of sleep apnea patients and digital orthodontics. He is also interested in data science, platform integration and application development.
